We did it Andy and I pulled it off. We got to Camden at one in the afternoon. The place was empty except for a red jeep. We walked over to the man standing next to the van. He was event staff. He told us no lawn chairs, so we gave our chairs to our parents. Our parents left and drove home. So we talked to the man for a half hour. He told us that we were really early. We said that it was ok because we were lifeguards, and we talked about lifeguarding a bit. He told us that the tour buses parked behind a gate on the other side of the place. So we walked around until we found the gate. A guy guarded the gate. I looked inside and the Foo tour bus wasn't inside. We walked back to the dock and sat down on a bench. Andy looked up on the overpass and sees a bus. It was reddish brown; it disappeared around an exit and re
appeared coming closer n closer to the other side of the building. Andy and I ran to the gate. By then the bus had parked behind the gate. We looked through the spaces between the gates. I saw Taylor come out and walk in and come back out n I watched Dave come out and run back in. 10 min later a white van pulled out of the parking area I saw Gus sitting on the passenger side. The words were stuck in my mouth and I couldn't cry out. We blew our chance to get to them. We walked back to the other side of the concert place and talked to the security guy. He said we should have yelled to them. We walked back to the dock thinking we blew our only chance. We sat there until three thirty we decided to make a sign. We cut up the bag that held our tee shirts and made a sign. I won't tell you what we had on there, but we tried to be creative. We walked back to the tour bus gate. At 4:30 we returned to the tour bus gate. There we met Abby. We talked a bit; she had been to 76 concerts so she knew what she was doing. At 5 the van came back we jumped up. Gus started laughing and told us to go in with them. The gate guy wouldn't let Abby in. We gave Gus the tee shirts and he told us to got to will call for side stage pass
es. We didn't have a camera we left it in my chair. Abby had a camera and promised to help us out. We found out u needed id to pick up passes, I didn't have id, but Andy did, but they were under my last name. We worried till 6 when we got our tickets. We snuck in with the camera. At 6:45 they took us backstage to meet the foos, and we were able to take Abby with us. We first met Chris, he was drinking a beer. Dave was doing an interview; after he finished he came over to us. Dave thought our sign was funny. He told us that they will be working on the new album soon. Originally it was going be an acoustic live cd, but they changed their mind its "going to be good and weird?"? Dave Taylor and Chris signed our tee shirts. Andy asked Chris if Taylor always walked around barefoot, he said, "Only when he is pregnant." If you didn't know Taylor you would think that he was a surfer bum. He wore an old shirt with holes in the back. They were sooo funny. They fought over who could sign my shirt. Dave grabbed the marker from Taylor. Taylor fought back but ended up with just the cap. We didn't get to see Nate. They enjoyed the tee shirts that we made them. At 7:50 they took us side stage for the concert Chris was 5 feet from us.
