+ New album (#4), entitled "1x1)- "One By One", is set for an October 21st release date in the U.K. and October 22 for the U.S. New single to be released in mid-September="All My Life" .. Dave named some B-sides that were recently recorded at Taylor's and may be included on an All My Life Single. All 3 are covers: 1)The Psychadelic Furs- "Sister Europe" (Taylor picked it_. 2)Prince-"Darling Nikki" 3)The Ramones-"Danny Says" Chris sings on this one!!!
+ Dave directed the video for "All My Life" this past week and it is live footage of the foo fighters doing what they do best: rocking out!
+ Song titles for the new album include: "All My Life", "Low", "Have it All", "Times Like These" (One Way Motorway) , "Tired", "Burn Away", "Lonely As You", "Overdrive (Gun Beside My Bed remake)", "Disenchanted Lullabye", "Halo," and Comeback." The One is not on the new album.
+ Dave has finished up drumming on his tour w/ QOTSA. That was one hell of a ride and Dave says he hasn't felt that way since the days of right before Nevermind was released. Dave feels like he was put on Earth to drum, and it makes him very happy to do it.
+ Woo hoo! "Probot" is in the mixing process as of now..and is set for a late fall release..(my fingers are crossed for this one). The album will feature such metal legends as Lemmy from Motorhead and Max Calavera from Soulfly.
+ Anyone in the U.K. better check out Foo Fighters at Reading and Leeds Festivals this year! (August 24 and 25, respectively.) Ok that about does it for now.
+ Everybody go out on August 27 and buy Chris Shifletts new side project "Viva Death" that he worked on with his brother Scott. Also on Aug. 27, pick up Queens of the Stone Ages latest, Songs for the Deaf while you are at it. You won't regret it, trust me!
