Day 1

By Andy at 7:45 pm on Monday, April 21, 2008

It’s been awhile since I’ve added an entry, but hopefully that will change.

I recently turned 25 (not a quarter life crisis, more of a quarter life shake up) but that was the least of the changes that happened to me recently. I quit my job in late March, moved out of New York, and basically decided to play lots and lots of golf. Today was supposed to be day one of my regiment but as it turns out it will have to wait a little longer. I was battling jet lag the past couple of days after returning from Taiwan and still had a lot of errands to take care of, but I did manage to squeeze in 2 hours of practice today. Thank goodness the skills are still there. My physical shape is another story though after the 3 weeks in Taiwan dining like a king. I gained a total of 10 pounds and when I bent down to read the putts today, I felt the tightness of the pants and the overhang of the gut on the belt. Disgusting. Can’t wait for personal trainer Reggie to whip me into shape.
