PGA Merchandise Show
The automobile industry has a large number of shows to unveil their new cars. There’s the International CES to unveil new consumer technologies. Heck, there’s even the AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo) to unveil — well, everything. So why wouldn’t there be one for all of us golf fanatics out there? That’s where the PGA Merchandise Show comes in.
After reading the latest Golf Journal from WSJ.com, it seemed that the main attraction were those funky shaped drivers. The products on display however, ran the entire gamut — from edible tees, to newly designed putters, to a whole slew of teaching aids. John Paul Newport liked the Strike ‘N Swipe, a reusable impact recorder for the face of your clubs. Jay Flemma at the blog A Walk In The Park, seemed to favor the putters that appeared at the show. The Puku putters he mentioned looked really nice and had a device that allowed you to adjust the length of the putter.
Too bad the show isn’t open to the public.
