From E*Trade to Charles Schwab online investing, the public has been deluged with massive amounts of online investment advertisement. The major question is which one should you choose to do your online investing!
Here's a quick rundown of some of your options:
Accutrade- A personable approach to online investing with their motto "Changing one investor at a time." Each trade is $29.95
Of course there are others. Each site has its advantages over others but Hoching.com considers E*Trade the best service for teens for its ease of use and slick interface. For the teens who just want to invest and check up on their accounts every month E*Trade if good for that because they have charts that range from hours to the year. For those that are daytraders in the summer or cut school for stock openings, E*Trade is fast and almost instant trades. Its cheap with a $1000 starting account and you can have your parents open an account for you if you are not over 18.
Teens are mostly small cap traders because most teens don't have over $10,000 to spend on online investment. Watch for stocks like Coach USA, a bus
company which has an underrated market value for its yearly earnings. Also Amazon.com stock for those who have more money to spend. As of right now, Amazon is on a slide but who knows when they will shoot back up. Other companies to watch for are Halo Industries, Sony, Pepsi Cola, Caterpillar Construction, and At&t.
Most of all be careful. This article is not ADVICE. It is merely the author's observations. Good luck on your future trading and may the trades be with you.
