My Summer
I just read Peter’s article about his memorable summer, and his article has brought back the memory of my unforgettable summer.

Perhaps reading his article might not affect me in any way if today was just an ordinary day. However, today is 9-11; the day that changed everybody’s life throughout the world when three hijacked airplanes flew into the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon building one year ago and killed more than three thousand people. 9-11 becomes significant in my life because the terrible event reminds me how lucky I am to have a family and friends who make my life colorful and full of love. Also, after reading Peter’s list on things he did during the summer, I am glad that I was involved in few of them because being around the person that I have been friends with and looked up to make me feel safe.

Right now, the days of my summer are going over and over in my head, like videotape that is re-running again and again. As Peter describes in his article, it is hard for him to look at the list of things he did with dry eyes. Although the tears are not streaming down my cheek, there are invisible tears that are falling down my face because I miss every part of the summer and the people that I hung out with.

Peter’s summer involved many activities, such as going to beach, working in the office, camping, traveling, making websites, and arguing with his girlfriend etc. On the other hand, my summer was rather simple but it was still enjoyable at the same time. Here is my list:

1. Football conditioning Monday through Friday
2. SAT2s
3. Chores
4. Gilmore Girls and Friends
5. Internet
6. My best friend-Won
7. HBA reunion
8. Riding roller coaster for the first time
9. Korean barbecue at Pete’s
10. College visit
11. My brother
12. NYC
13. Photoshop
14. Home alone for three weeks
15. Boston trip
16. Adorable girl
17. Finkle Monster video
18. Football double sessions

Me too, my eyes are red and wet. I am going to bed now.
